"Please join us on Thursday, May 19, at 4:00pm for the opening reception of the 2022 MFA Thesis Exhibition. This year's graduating class includes 50 artists from 36 states and nine nations including Brazil, China, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, the Republic of Georgia, Italy, Korea and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Academy is proud to salute this remarkable class of soon-to-be-alumni who stayed in New York City throughout the balance of the global pandemic in order to complete their degrees and realize their creative dreams." –NYAA Bulletin
